JZWA Spinal Fixation System

JZWA Spinal Fixation System is a posterior thoracolumbar screw and rod fixation system for minimally invasive surgery (MIS). This system provides the same strength and rigidity as JZPA, ready for manipulation and deformity correction.

About The System

The JZWA Spinal Fixation System consists of the following components:

  • JZWA Multiaxial Pedicle Screw
  • JZWA Monoiaxial Pedicle Screw
  • JZWA Arc Shape Pre-bent Rod
  • JZWA Straight Rod

Indications

  • Degenerative disc disease (DDD)
  • Spondylolisthesis
  • Trauma (i.e. fracture or dislocation)
  • Spinal stenosis
  • Curvatures (i.e. scoliosis, kyphosis, or lordosis)
  • Tumor
  • Pseudarthrosis
  • Failed previous fusion

Features

Multiaxial pedicle screw allows installation at a variable angle, which gives freedom to match the anatomy of each patient.
Monoaxial pedicle screw allows its tulip to rotate along the longitudinal axis 360°, making the rod easier to align.
Extended screw head for MIS operation. When finishing the rod installation, the extended parts can be removed easily with tools.

Pre-bent rod

– A better fit for physiological curvature of the human body

Double and quadruple thread

– Faster and consistent insertion rate
– Increased pullout strength

Titanium alloy material

– Better biomechanical performance
– Lightweight but rigid in strength
