The Orthopedic Limb Reconstruction Group of the Medical Promotion Association went to the Taihang Mountains
On June 24, 2017, in Jingxing County, after experiencing a heavy rainfall, the refreshing morning breeze welcomed the “Limb Reconstruction Goes to the Taihang Mountains” academic event, organized by the Limb Reconstruction Group of the Orthopedic Branch of the Medical Promotion Association, hosted by Jingxing County Hospital in Hebei, and co-organized by Kangli Medical Group. It was a feast of academic knowledge and discussions related to limb reconstruction.
At 8:30 in the morning, Professor Kang Qinglin, a native of Jingxing County, presided over the meeting. He introduced the history and present situation of Jingxing County. Being an ancient county with a history of thousands of years, Jingxing has a profound historical background due to the Qin Dynasty’s post road passing through it. As a red revolutionary zone during the Hundred Regiments Offensive, it carries the heroic and resilient revolutionary spirit of the people. As a member of the Limb Reconstruction Group of the Chinese Medical Promotion Association, Professor Kang emphasized the undeniable mission of grassroots work, bringing technology to rural areas and conducting nationwide lectures. Coming to the foothills of the Taihang Mountains was also a result of this mission. Jingxing’s ability to host such a high-level national conference made him, as a native of Jingxing, immensely proud and honored. He believed that through this conference, the field of limb reconstruction in Jingxing would be greatly promoted and benefit the local people. After a humorous opening speech, Professor Kang introduced the attending guests.
Professor Zhang Yingze, representing the Orthopedic Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, the Chinese Medical Doctors Association, and the Hebei Orthopedic Society, warmly congratulated and highly appreciated the conference.
